Parents’ Committee

We are the Parents’ Committee of Unikids 2.0 Daycare. The Parents’ Committee represents the parents of children at the day nursery. We consult with the employees about matters taking place at the day nursery and are a contact point for parents. The establishment of a Parents’ Committee is mandatory under the Childcare Act (Wko). The Parents’ Committee has statutory advisory authority in relation to the quality of the care, food and education, safety and health, opening hours, play and development activities, education policy and adjustments in the price of the daycare.

What does the Parents’ Committee do?

The Parents’ Committee consults several times a year with the location head to discuss current affairs and questions. In addition, we meet a number of times a year without the management. The Parents’ Committee organises several activities each year. The Parents’ Committee is a member of the association BOINK, an association that represents the interests of parents in child care and playgroups.

How can you reach us?

We would like to hear your questions and comments about the childcare at Unikids 2.0 Daycare. These can be all kinds of things: complaints, problems, but also things you consider good. Moreover, suggestions are welcome, for example about activities, educational aspects, food, quality, safety and health. We as Parents’ Committee would, of course, also like to receive feedback on what parents expect of us (or precisely do not). In order to make communication with the Parents’ Committee as easy as possible, we can also be reached by e-mail via:
